COMMUNITY

Admin“You can put down a bad book; you can avoid listening to bad music; but you cannot miss the ugly tower block opposite your house.”
Renzo Piano
There is a huge responsibility that comes with being an architect involved in urban design. We cannot simply design a few beautiful buildings without total consideration of their surrounding topography.
It is imperative that when designing urban spaces, the architect must take both the narrow and the broad view. He must consider the spaces he is creating together with all of the other buildings in the area, all of the surrounding streets and public spaces, the whole neighborhood and it inhabitants in order to make urban areas practical, beautiful and sustainable spaces.
