Juventa Mews

Project Overview

The client lived in a large Georgian house in Malahide with a large rear garden and wanted to downsize to a house with less stairs and more comfort.

We designed a 2 storey mews house to the rear and overcame a few significant planning issues in the process.  The house in organised into three bays.  The central bay is the main double height living space and the kitchen and bedrooms are arranged in the bays on either side.  The flow of the house revolves around the main double height space with is filled with a chandelier which we designed to fill up the space with light and which can be enjoyed as you circulate around the house.

The house achieves a BER A2 rating.  It has solar thermal and PV panels and a rain water harvesting system.
